Dutzu (Dragoș DUȚU) is a Transylvanian-born communication specialist who brings people-centred solutions that improve communication. Finds the opportunity in problems and provides creative, long-term approaches for solving them.
He studied Romanian and English Language and Literature and graduated with a BA in Communication and Public Relations from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania. His thesis analysed the formation of brand associations in the fragrance industry.
He studied abroad for two semesters, at Artevelde University College Gent, Belgium, where he followed the International Business Management and the Module in Communication Management programmes.
Currently he is preparing his masters’ thesis, focused on the coagulation of millennials around brand values.
Projects and expertise
The most recent project he took part in, was the International Conference on Physics of Advanced Materials, for whom he did event planning for two consecutive editions. Previously, he was a Publicity Assistant for the Iași International Festival of Literature and Translation (FILIT, 2014) a volunteer coordinator for the European Researchers’ Night Iași (2014) and a volunteer in several educational events.
During his early academic years, he took part in an internship organised by the Educational Marketing department of his home university, where he did online PR and helped organise several events, managed the facebook page and created content for the University’s news and opinions medium.
Throughout the course of these projects, he gained expertise in event planning, online PR and social-media strategy.
